Series of potholes

2-300m stretch of westbound A35 west of Puddletown junction, there is a series of potholes that drivers have to swerve to dodge. Road surface in poor condition and deteriorating.

  • Potholes getting bigger and longer in length. Severe hazard to single track vehicles.

  • Deep pothole on A35 westbound centre of carriageway shortly before Puddletown Forest junction. Also eastbound carriageway on tarmac section before and after first lay-by has multiple defects and potholes. Two weeks ago I burst a tyre on the west bound section. Urgent remedial action required particularly as it is an arterial A road.
