Traffic Bollard causing a hazard / obstruction on A5 Watling Street, opposite house numbers 129 and 131

Reported via desktop in the Sign Obscured (NH) category anonymously at 11:32, Sunday 26 May 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6021592.

The traffic bollard is situated in the road, where it is almost causing a hazards or obstructing traffic. This could cause an accident. The bollard has came off its post in the middle of the highway. It looks dangerous and a mess. This bollard has come off several times and doesn’t get fixed down correctly, it get put back in place and then we have wind or loads of lorry’s passing by, it flies off again, back into the road or on the side path. It’s also been on our gardens too. It’s a hazard and been like this for some time now. This needs correctly fastening in place so it’s not to come off again. It is a middle central traffic bollard that’s got the blue and white arrows, to show traffic which side they need to be on.
