Causing 1 mile tail backs due to grass so high it obscures view at roundabout

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown or obscuring view (NH) category by Dave Williams at 21:06, Saturday 25 May 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6020632.

Have experienced tailbacks on A46 northbound back to previous roundabout, to find reason for delays is because the grass is so high at the roundabout , drivers have oi stop and edge out slowly as they cannot see if cars are approaching from the right.

The whole purpose of a roundabout is to effectively manage traffic flow, safely, but also efficiently.

Currently the height of begetati9n is a) causing 15 minute delays and b) increasing risk of collisions due to blocked vision for drivers.

A 10 minute grass cut will improve safety and traffic flow massively.
