Road sign in road

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6020383.

This problem was first reported in December 2023, there is still an unused road sign laying by the central reservation in addition to the metal road sign that was in the carriageway on 22nd May 2024 and unfortunately i couldn't avoid hitting it full on causing much damage to my car. it is now hanging over the barrier on the nearside of the carriageway, please could this be safely removed before it causes a very serious accident.

    If any work is needed, they will arrange for this to happen.
