Tree leaning on phone line over Highways Agency land

Reported via mobile in the Structures (eg bridges, fencing, noise barriers) (NH) category anonymously at 17:32, Fri 24 May 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6017498.

The phone line between the pole at the south end of Hambrook Hill North and the pole which distributes phone line to the three properties nearby on Nightingale Lane, PO18 8UH, Chinthay (our property), The Rosery, and Woodcote, runs across a triangle of land purchased by Highways Agency for landscaping. One dying tree is leaning heavily against the line, bending it and threatening to break it. It needs to be removed but BT Openreach say this must be done by the landowners, i.e. yourselves. We would appreciate its prompt removal.
