Vegetation blocking vision at junction l

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6014484.

The A1 at Great Ponton where vehicles cross from the village to access the northbound carriageway or when vehicles turn right off the southbound carriageway into Heath Lane has overground vegetation in the Central reservation area which obscures the view of on-coming traffic. This is very dangerous as vision is at least 90% restricted.

  • No action has been taken regarding this issue. I would remind you that Highways England become liable for any injury caused to anyone due to vision / vision splay being obstructed .
