The space to widen the road exists, please can it be suggested to utilize it. Please add a slip road to the A69 Esatbound Gilsland turning to Spadeadam. For traffic turning onto the A69 it is difficult to see past the grass, oncoming vehicles and rise in the road. For haulage exiting the A69 it can back up traffic on the highway and inexperienced drivers can overshoot the turning.
