Steep steps on motor way bridge

Reported via mobile in the Pavement/footpath/cycleway/bridleway issue (NH) category anonymously at 22:23, Tue 21 May 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6004144.

The motorway bridge from crompton street to Kearsley Academy school the over 70% of kids use to get to school are very steep my daughter fell down them and fractured her ankle of a hand rail could be put up in the middle of the steps it would make it easier for kids to use while walking to school as in the winter aswell it’s very muddy and slippy ot need to be lit up for the darker nights as there is no fence to the wooded area at the side and when it’s bad in winter they can’t walk under kearsley round about to get to school as it’s flooded hence why most kids walk over the bridge
