Speed camera J10-J19 on M27

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5988715.

Multiple speed camera flashes when driving 40mph according to the gantry sign because of road works (when there was none, got the video evidence for it) for the next 5 miles. Then 3 of the 4 lanes are blocked and the speed goes up to 50mph at 00:30 18/05/2024. Them flashes were scary and confusing with speed variables. Why block the lanes and reduce the speed when the lanes are open and then increase the speed limit when the lanes are actually blocked? Either gantry speed was inaccurate and the camera speed was set to something else, why us there so many reports for this issue and still not fixed?

  • Is there a phone number to check with someone if I will be issued with a penalty charge or just wait until we get a letter and then challenge it? Any advise will be much appreciated. Thank you.
