Grass growing on the central reservation completely obscures the view to the east

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5983541.

I couldn’t see west-bound traffic when attempting to cross the from the A27 to Walberton/Yapton. A car travelling very fast towards Fontwell probably couldn’t see me. Luckily, we didn’t collide. Please could you inspect this site very urgently before there is an accident. Thank you

  • Thank you for making your report about the length of the vegetation at the Yapton Lane crossover.

    We're currently planning in vegetation cuts to all the crossovers along the A27. This location was included for maintenance by our service partners and cuts have now been completed.

    Our safety inspection team will continue to monitor the location.
