Weeds in central reservation make it hard to see traffic pulling into Nyton Road

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5979208.

Overgrown weeds make it so that traffic pulling into Nyton Road are invisible to westbound traffic until last second, jerked the steering wheel at 70 thinking a car was pulling out right in front of me. (From a learner, so expect me to make mistakes)

  • Thank you for making your report about the length of the vegetation at the Nyton Road crossover.

    We're currently planning in vegetation cuts to all the crossovers along the A27 and this location is included for maintenance by our service partners within 28 days subject to suitable traffic management. Nyton Road has been booked for 21 May.

    In the meantime, our safety inspection team will monitor the location.
