Fence was damaged by a lorry overturning and leaving the carriageway

Reported via desktop in the Structures (eg bridges, fencing, noise barriers) (NH) category by Cllr Jennifer Cruse at 21:40, Mon 13 May 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5969448.

The replacement is plastic bollards which would certainly not stop the same accident happening again. A strong barrier needs to be put in place to prevent this kind of accident happening again. The current arrangement is not fit for purpose.
