Peppered with potholes

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5967242.

Between junction 39 to 40 on both carriageways there are a large amount of potholes. Cars are swerving to avoid them and it is going to cause an accident. If a biker hits one of these at 70mph they are likely to come off. This has been in this poor state for several weeks and I can see numerous persons have reported this already. I can’t understand how this has managed to get to this poor state of repair if these main carriageways are regularly inspected. When was the last inspection please?
