Long grass on central reservation by crossover point

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5963850.

When crossing from eastbound carriage way to Yapton road the view of oncoming traffic coming up the hill on the westbound carriageway is obscured making it very dangerous to cross here. I cross here every day and I only noticed it this morning. Grass has grown so high with warm weather. It needs cutting urgently.

  • Thank you for making your report about the length of the vegetation at the Yapton Lane crossover.

    We're currently planning in vegetation cuts to all the crossovers along the A27 and this location is included for maintenance by our service partners within 28 days subject to suitable traffic management.

    In the meantime, our safety inspection team will monitor the location.
