Lights are changing far to quickly

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5961772.

Heading northbound towards the docks the traffic lights on the main A20 carriageway stay green for only about 10 seconds, this is causing long delays in peak times, sometimes back to the aycliffe rounderbout

    We’re aware there is a traffic light sequencing fault at this location and we apologise for any disruption this may have caused you. At present, further investigations are ongoing to establish the cause of the fault. Although we don’t currently have a time frame on when this will be fixed, we hope this will be resolved as soon as possible. Whilst we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales can vary depending on the complexity of work that is identified to rectify the issue.
