Tall weeds and grass on A35 verge at junction of Shute Rd and George Lane
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5959085.
Extremely Dangerous! Sitting in car at George Lane junction on to Shute Rd and from Shute Rd to turn on to A35, drivers cannot see traffic approaching at 50mph on A35 to either pass by, or turn off A35 onto Shute Rd.

In support of Peter Ball and as an ex Traffic Police Officer this is a serious problem which requires your immediate attention before there is a major accident. Your contractors did some work on the greensward about 3 weeks ago but totally ignored this problem. They are in my opinion totally useless compared to the contractors you used in 2022. That’s because the Parish council cut the worst down!

Part of the area was cut by highways contractors the following week. However the vegetation here and at the A35 . The Hill junction still limits the distance one can see . If you are sitting higher in a van, it’s ok but they need to cut lower for car drivers.
