Grass growth completely blocking the junction view

When using the crossing from the A27 eastbound onto Yapton Lane. It is very hard to see the oncoming traffic on the A27 Westbound due to the length of the grass. It’s really dangerous and has been like it for over a week.

  • Barely any visibility now, even in a 4x4. Needs addressing asap or there will be an accident. Will have to use alternative route until it is resolved as will not risk my childs life.

  • Thank you for making your report about the length of the vegetation at Yapton Lane crossover.

    We're currently planning in vegetation cuts to all the crossovers along the A27 and this location is included for maintenance by our service partners within 28 days subject to suitable traffic management.

    In the meantime, our safety inspection team will monitor the location.
