A69/A1 Eastbound Traffic Lights (Denton Burn)

Reported via desktop in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 13:11, Friday 10 May 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5955775.

There is regularly long tailbacks of traffic (beyond the intersection with Hill Head Road) and the current sequencing does not allow sufficient time for traffic to move more freely. In the last couple of years there has been a noticeable increase in traffic and if the lights could be adjusted to accommodate this, then I believe the problem would be resolved.
