Extremely dangerous crossing A27 to Britten's lane

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5954554.

Accident will happen if you do not cut the grass today! Near miss this morning. Car bonnets sticking out in fast lane trying to cross junction, as visibility is impossible!! If you can't cut the grass, concrete that area for safety reasons! Please get your mowers out before somebody dies in a T-bone crash. Thank you.

  • Thank you for making your report about the length of the vegetation at Britten’s Lane crossover.

    We're currently planning in vegetation cuts to all the crossovers along the A27 and this location is included for maintenance by our service partners within 28 days subject to suitable traffic management.

    In the meantime, our safety inspection team will monitor the location.
