Growth obscuring view of oncoming traffic

The long grass and cow parsley on the central reservation is completely obscuring view of oncoming traffic when you’re trying to cross the Eastbound carriageway on to Britten’s Lane. It’s been getting increasingly dangerous for the last 2 weeks.

  • Thank you for making your report about the length of the vegetation at Britten’s Lane crossover.

    We're currently planning in vegetation cuts to all the crossovers along the A27 and this location is included for maintenance by our service partners within 28 days subject to suitable traffic management.

    In the meantime, our safety inspection team will monitor the location.
