Overgrown bushes

I’ve tried contacting Folkestone and Hythe but they said that it potentially their issue. Please see email I sent below We moved into our home in November 2023 and at the time it wasn't an issue but now the summer is approaching the trees/bushes that are between our driveway and the river that runs along the main road are becoming over grown. It wont be long until its hard to see left along the road as we pull out of the drive, for vehicles coming from Rye seeing us pulling out and for them to be over hanging the river and drop into the river which could potentially cause an issue with it flowing fast later in the year. Just wondering if the trimming of these on the road side is down to Folkestone and Hythe Council or us as the home owners? When we viewed the house we was told that the bushes are not within our boundary and are maintained by yourselves. I've got photos that I have attached or if someone needs to come out then we maybe arrange it when I'm here so we can meet up? Thanks for any help that you can give here.
