Near Miss - Overgrown Grass

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5947104.

The grass in the central reservation is massively overgrown. I have witnessed several cars nearly being hit by oncoming traffic as when crossing from the Eastbound A27 the outside lane is completely obscured.

  • Thank you for making your report about the length of the vegetation at Yapton Lane crossover.

    We're currently planning in vegetation cuts to all the crossovers along the A27 and this location is included for maintenance by our service partners within 28 days subject to suitable traffic management.

    In the meantime our safety inspection team will monitor the location.
