Norfolk Police - Incident Ref NC-[phone removed]

We have attended an incident today where a vehicle has spun on this roundabout - although the road is wet there was no clear issue with the road, however we are aware that we have been called to a number of RTC's to this location in the recent months so believe there must be some sort of road surface issue here - possibly exacerbated by the inclement weather

  • Thank you for making your report regarding the road surface condition on the A47 at Thetford East. We have asked our inspection team to attend this location and assess the issue.

    If any work is needed, they will arrange for this to happen.

    Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
