Poor road condition - ridges/potholes/failing surface.

Reported via desktop in the Pothole (NH) category anonymously at 14:02, Fri 3 May 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5929824.

The stretch of the A5 from the Stony roundabout past Wolverton is in terrible condition. Numerous massive ridges across the roads by the bridges that are wrecking suspensions of cars, multiple potholes and areas that need resurfacing. Please attend to this, particularly the ridges that run across the entire carriageway, caused by bridge movement. They are getting worse every day. Unavoidable on the southbound carriageway.

Updates

  • This seems to have been ignored. The carriageway southbound between the Stony Stratford Roundabout and the Abbey Hill roundabout has numerous large ridges running perpendicular to the direction of travel. Really bad condition and in urgent need of skimming and resurfacing. Bridge movement has rippled the surface in numerous places. Please sort this.
