Northbound lights

Reported via desktop in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 10:46, Friday 3 May 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5928838.

A49 northbound lights are only letting 3/4cars through at a time. Causing major backup of traffic. Lights are located on the A49 at the junction to the new bloor homes estate hereford HR4. Same issue yesterday too

Updates

  • The traffic lights on the a49 entering the hereford point estate has developed a fault where they are cycling though each direction in order rather than before when they would only change to stop traffic traveling north/ south on the a49 if the sensors detected a car leaving the estate. This is causing large queues northbound due to the light being on red when no cars are needing to leave the estate. Thanks Tom
