Cars coming from west can either see the A189 SB traffic lights, or their traffic lights are out of sequence

Reported via mobile in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 09:53, Friday 3 May 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5928547.

Over the past two months I have witnessed several near misses whereby the light turns green on the A189 SB Jct of the roundabout, but some cars keep coming from the right. This morning I was very close to being hit myself by two cars coming from the right when my light was green and there's should have been red.

Having travelled from the A19 west, I believe some drivers are looking at the wrong traffic lights and think they have a green to go when actually they do not.

We can advise we’ve checked the signals on the approach to the roundabout and although the signals are currently not in operation, we’ve not identified a signal head that may be misleading.
