Faded lane markings

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5924313.

This roundabout is a source of danger. The roadmarkings are very faded and trying to get from A259 from Bognor across to Portfield Way A285 is awful. There is no clear marking on the road and there have been several incidents at this roundabout as it is not clear what lane you are meant to be in. This problem has been going on for years and needs to be rectified as to not cause further collisions.

    We have passed your report to our local inspector who reviewed the issue during their safety inspection along the A27 this week.

    They confirm that the road markings at Portfield roundabout are currently in good order with some recent replacement undertaken during the footbridge scheme.
