Lane marking

Reported via iOS in the Faded / Hard to see (NH) category anonymously at 23:02, Tue 30 April 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5918463.

It’s not clear which lane leads to which exit on the roundabout. I have witnessed on several occasions vehicles in the right hand lane and the middle lane very nearly collide as they both try to move into the middle of the three lanes on the roundabout itself. I believe clearer road markings are necessary in order to improve road safety and help with the traffic management at peak times. Signs should be seen when exiting the M602 on the approach to the roundabout much sooner to help drivers select the appropriate lane.

I have witnessed this issue for at least 3 years now as I drive this route most mornings.
