Highways refuses to collect their own dumped roadworks signs.

Reported via mobile in the Abandoned Materials (NH) category anonymously at 16:26, Mon 29 April 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5912691.

The frame of a roadworks sign is underneath the last flyover on the left hand side. The sign is actually underneath the other flyover on the same side. Both have been here for months Don't just bloody close reports and blame the council. It's one of your road signs.

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways regarding the redundant traffic management equipment. We will arrange for one of our local inspectors to investigate this. Where we have identified redundant equipment, this will be removed. However, in some cases we do leave items in place for future use. Some isolated cones may also be in place for a specific purpose that may not be clear to passing vehicles. Kind regards National Highways
