No street lights

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5905658.

Why is their no street lighting at this junction its not a minor junction..it on theA40 a major route its like friving down a country lane.

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways concerning the lack of street lighting on the roundabout at junction 11 of the M5.

    We'll only install lighting under strict guidance, in line with national policy and the lighting requirements set out in the British standards.

    This roundabout does not not meet the requirements to illuminate as the road layout and light levels, have not generated any night time recorded accident’s to warrant a lighting installation.
