I use this junction regularly and there are so many times where people get the wrong lane - they're in the A50 lanes and then cut straight across to the M1 lane when the lights change to green. I have had so many near misses (I'm in the M1 lane about to come off for the hotel road), having to either swerve or slam on the brakes. It's an accident waiting to happen.

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5900874.

Lane markings are missing. Potholes between the lanes. This happens so often that I think it's more to do with the non-intuitive road layout. Sign posts need to be clearer (A50 ONLY) or lower?
