Ridge across whole road

Reported via desktop in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 18:14, Thu 25 April 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5899697.

On the sliproad leading from the M4 going Eastbound to the A329, there is a ridge across the whole surface causing a car to come off the road and jump, meaning it causes damage to the suspension and wheels/tyres. It is particularly bad on the left side of the road and the only way to minimise the damage caused is to be in the right lane which either means changing lanes on the bend which I do not do as I do not feel it is safe, or be in the second from inside lane coming off the motorway. If you are in this lane however there is a pothole on the motorway. Both the pothole and ridge, have been there for over a month now.
