White lines, direction arrows, road numbers

Reported via desktop in the Faded / Hard to see (NH) category anonymously at 00:53, Thu 25 April 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5896325.

Approaching the roundabout from Wrexham heading to Chester and Ellesmere Port, as you enter the roundabout and proceed through the roundabout, road markings are so worn out it's difficult for strangers to work out where you should be on the road - as in, where are the lanes and where do I need to be. This is dangerous.

Updates

  • Thank you for making your report. I'm pleased to tell you we have a works programme scheduled for the renewal of the road markings later in the summer.

Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.

    Kind regards National Highways
