Subway vandalism

Reported via desktop in the Structures (eg bridges, fencing, noise barriers) (NH) category anonymously at 09:15, Mon 22 April 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5882873.

Subway under slip roads to / from M53 Junction 9 - Structure Key 18227 - has been subject to vandalism and is generally poorly maintained. Lights are either not working or have been smashed. Glass on ground from broken lights. Lights at the southern end of the subway don't work at all. Graffiti, litter, overgrown vegetation and puddles should also be dealt with. People don't use the subway because of its poor condition, preferring to cross at the entrance to the sliproads which is extremely dangerous for pedestrians.
