Surface degradation across running lanes

When driving westbound along the M26 on 8/4/24 in poor weather, we noticed significant surface degradation and rough running in the running lanes, which would have been between marker posts M26 L 8.5 and M26 L 9.0. As we were driving at traffic speed we could not see any further details, but it would be worth investigating in daylight and good weather to confirm. (Note I've clicked the map in what I guess was the location, but the marker post should be used as the actual location).
