Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5854502.

The recent (current?) works on the West bound carriageway have left some strange debris at the side of the road (behind the Armco) ; this includes an old metal safety barrier, various cones, and litter? The original clean up of the drains was to stop flooding, but why has the debris and litter not been fully cleared?

Thank you for contacting National Highways regarding the redundant traffic management equipment.

We carry out equipment removal on a bi-monthly basis. Where we have identified redundant equipment, this will be removed. However, in some cases we do leave items in place for future use. Some isolated cones may also be in place for a specific purpose that may not be clear to passing vehicles.
