Updates

  • Thank you for your email of 14 April 2024 about the poor road surface at both entry and exit of the roundabout on the A63 at Melton. We understand your concerns and appreciate you taking the time to contact us about the issue.

We've checked and can confirm we're aware of the issues with the road surface at the Melton westbound entry and are working with our contractor to develop a scheme to make the most appropriate repairs. We don't have a date for the scheme at the moment, but in the meantime, our inspection team do patrol the network daily, instructing safety critical works where required.

The actual roundabout is the responsibility of the local authority, in this case it would be East Riding Council. For any issues on the roundabout you can contact them via https://www.eastriding.gov.uk/ .

Thank you again for contacting us. If there is anything we can help you with, please email or telephone our Contact Centre. They’re available 24 hours a day by phone: 0300 123 5000 or by email info@nationalhighways.co.uk. Alternatively, please visit the National Highways website at nationalhighways.co.uk.
