Pothole in middle lane of southbound m1. Roughly over 1st bridge.

Road surface has broken up badly, large area of damaged tarmac.

  • Thank you for your report of 15 April 2024 about potholes located on the M1 southbound at junction 38. We understand your concerns and appreciate the time you've taken to report this. We're aware of the issue you've reported in this location. We're currently planning repairs for this. In the meantime, we'll continue to monitor this during our regular inspections.

    Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
