Large amount of graffiti on bridge walls

Reported via desktop in the Graffiti (NH) category anonymously at 10:47, Wednesday 10 April 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5833384.

Fence blocking access to verge and highway has been broken for months. This is highly dangerous and has allowed people access to the roadside where they have littered and graffitied.

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways about graffiti.

We aim to remove or cover offensive graffiti within 24 hours of our inspection.

Non-offensive graffiti is dealt with under planned cyclical works and therefore can take longer to remove.

We will arrange for our local inspector to look at this on his regular safety inspection of this route and they will arrange a suitable solution.

    Kind regards

    National Highways
