Drain chamber blocked.

Reported via desktop in the Flooding/drainage (NH) category anonymously at 13:24, Monday 8 April 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5823810.

He drainage chamber on this drain just after you turn off the A5 onto the road leading to Astcote is completely full of mud/silt/debris

This has blocked the inlet and outlet pipes and means that no surface run off water can drain away.

During heavy rainfall the junction experiences a large pooling of water / low level flooding which makes using the junction dangerous.

Drain chamber needs vacuum cleaning and jetting to ensure it is fully functional.
