Thank you for your report on the National Highways Fix My Street website on 26 April 2024 regarding blacked out permanent signage on the A1 southbound approaching junction 67. Thank you for reporting this on the Fix My Street website. We have passed your concerns to the Traffic Management team and the onsite Traffic Safety Control Officer (TSCO), who patrols the scheme and its diversion routes regularly both during the day and night. The team have confirmed that the current signage is correct in reference to the narrow lanes. As soon as the scheme is complete, we’ll reinstate all permanent signage back to the way it was when we arrived. Thanks again for contacting us, we hope that the above information has been helpful.
