Japanese knotweed growing in verge and hedge again (Long term problem)

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown or obscuring view (NH) category anonymously at 14:25, Wednesday 1 May 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5802532.

The Japanese Knotweed which has been a problem here for years is once again growing back despite it being eradicated last year (and many years before) by the council. I will also tell them about it.

  • The problem has been tackled but the plant is already growing back in places, so I don't know if this counts as fixed or not fixed, since action has been taken. It's just such a difficult plant to get rid of.
