The subsidence around these two drain covers has increased and made a deeper depression. The result of this is that speeding traffic early in the morning (5am) is hitting the pothole at speed. This results in a bang which wakens the household, rattles the radiators, windows and doors and causes small ornaments to fall off shelves!
