Compacted soil/ mud on the carriageway

Reported via mobile in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 13:27, Tuesday 2 April 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5795596.

I appear not to be the only person reporting this issue. From Skew Bridge to Park Wall T-junction there is a considerable volume of soil on the north side of the carriageway. In places it extends nearly two feet across the road, mounded up to the top of kerb and many yards long. Quite simply, it should be considered as a significant skid hazard and its removal should be prioritised.
