Dangerous Junction

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5784408.

It is now dangerous to join the M50 towards the M5 from the A38. The slip road surface is not good enough to travel above 20-30mph when you are attempting to join the fast moving motorway. You are having to try and watch for pot holes and watch motorway traffic and having to continually veer or join the motorway at a dangerously slow speed.

  • Thank you for making your report. We're aware of this road surface and have submitted a small business case to resurface this area, this is currently in the planning stage.

    Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
