Tree branches low, at face level, obstructing the footway and soon the carriageway

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown or obscuring view (NH) category anonymously at 16:08, Thu 28 March 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5779053.

For whom it may concern,

As a Highway Authority, it is our responsibility to keep the footway and carriageway clear, however please be advised that the obstruction comes from a tree that is part of a land registered on the name "National Highways".

Please note that we are unable to raise any safety repair jobs/cutting vegetation or branches.

As the tree is part of your property, please consider to arrange for these to be cut back, so the footway is no longer obstructed.

Kind Regards, Madalin Ciobotaru Highway Steward West Sussex County Council
