Lack of effective matrix signs to warn drivers about a hazard

Reported via mobile in the Electronic Sign (NH) category anonymously at 23:08, Wed 27 March 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5775988.

The matrix signs between J23 and J24 of the M60 going towards Denton are not notifying drivers of 2 lane closures, resulting in last minute breaking and swerving which will cause an accident. Lanes are closed off with cones but there is no warning of this, or reduction in speed until the lane suddenly stops. I encountered this at around 10:40pm this evening.
