Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5771477.

Previously repaired pothole sunk on the right hand side of inside lane, just after Tuxford slip road.

  • Reported on numerous occasions pothole on a1, north bound lane 1 just before markham over bridge, it is affecting our house getting cracks appearing in the plaster in 2 bedrooms, it vibrates the house, the next step is to get a structural engineer out to inspect. I would appreciate your mediate response. Mr&mrs Fox , mountview ,Markham Road, Tuxford, Ng220np. Tel 07973392772.

  • Thank you for making your report. We have asked our inspection team to attend this location and assess the issue. If any work is needed, they will arrange for this to happen. Should no immediate work be required we will continue to monitor this during our regular inspections.

    Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
