Tree branches low, at face level, obstructing the footway and soon the carriageway

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown or obscuring view (NH) category anonymously at 15:42, Tue 26 March 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5769498.

The branches of a tree coming from this property, has been reported to us, West Sussex County Council, by a member of public. We have visited the site, and the tree in question is part of a land that is registered on Land Registry as being National Highways land. I can confirm that the tree in question is obstructing the footway, and we would like to request this to be maintained. If this land has been sold in the meantime, please do let us know who is the new owner of the land in question. The tree in question is next to the roundabout heading south on Ford Road, Arundel.

Kind Regards, Madalin Ciobotaru Highway Steward West Sussex County Council
