When coming from the M1 junction 35a towards Manchester across the Tankersley a616 roundabout the lights do not seem to let enough vehicles through b4 changing giving more priority to traffic coming from the right a61

  • Taking at least 25 minutes to get through the lights at the roundabout as the lights are going from green back to red after approx 6 seconds, only letting maximum 4 cars through.

    After investigating your report, we can advise that a fault occurred following a Road Traffic Collision. In this incident, a vehicle struck one of the traffic signal poles, damaging the connection across the roundabout. As a result, our engineers have visited site and reconfigure the system. This site is now fault free and the problem rectified.
